THEATER POLICIES & HELPFUL NOTES

Arrive early... To guarantee admittance, ticket and pass holders must be in the appropriate line 15 minutes prior to the published showtime.

Sorry, but seat saving is NOT allowed.

ALL cell phones and e-devices MUST be turned OFF prior to program introduction.

Take personal items and refuse with you as you exit. Items left behind will be disposed of.

Outside food and beverages are not permitted.

Can I swap my tickets?
Unfortunately, no. Due to limited capacities at each theater, we can only honor the tickets you purchased, or were included with your package or membership.  We wish we had unlimited seats to swap, but we don't, sorry!

Can I get a refund?
Unfortunately, no. We do not allow exchanges or refunds. All orders are final.

What if I lost my tickets?
Unfortunately, we cannot reprint tickets. MVFF is not responsible for lost, stolen, forgotten or damaged tickets, or tickets misdirected by the post office.

What if something is sold out?
A Rush Line forms outside each venue, beginning one hour before show time, when a screening has been sold to capacity.  Rush tickets often become available even after advance tickets have been sold out. Approximately 15 minutes prior to the screening, tickets for remaining empty seats are sold to the Rush Line. No discounts. Cash only. Last year, many festival attendees had great success buying last-minute tickets in the Rush Line.

What if a film is cancelled?
If a film or event is cancelled, ticket buyers should contact the MVFF Box Office to receive information about how your ticket will be refunded.  Generally, patrons may exchange their ticket stub for a voucher to be redeemed for a ticket to a different screening OR exchange their ticket stub for a refund at the Mill Valley or San Rafael Box Office.

Best effort will be made to reschedule the cancelled film, so always check to see if there is a rescheduled screening of it that you would like to attend, before getting a refund.

All service fees, convenience fees, credit card fees, and fulfillment fees are NOT REFUNDABLE in the event of a cancellation. Other than the event being cancelled, ALL SALES ARE FINAL, NO REFUNDS, NO EXCHANGES, NO REPRINTS.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT THE THEATER:

What if I'm late to a screening?
Late seating is not guaranteed. If you arrive late, and seats are still available, you may be seated at the discretion of the Theater Manager. Please keep in mind, if it is a sold out show, remaining empty seats are sold to the Rush Line 15 minutes before show time. We strongly encourage you to arrive and be seated 15 minutes prior to the published show start time.

Accessibility
MVFF is committed to accommodating audience members with disabilities. To receive assistance, please make yourself known to the Theater Manager.  All screening venues and their bathrooms are wheelchair accessible.
